A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in SiteBar up to 3.3.8. This issue affects an unknown part of the file command.php. The manipulation of the argument command with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. The bug was discovered 06/27/2006. The weakness was disclosed 06/27/2006 by Kurdish Security (Botan) (Website). The advisory is shared at kurdishsecurity.blogspot.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-3320 since 06/29/2006. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely.
