A vulnerability has been found in Novell ZENworks 6.2 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file checkprofile.asp. SQL injection vulnerability in checkprofile.asp in (1) PatchLink Update Server (PLUS) before 6.1 P1 and 6.2.x before 6.2 SR1 P1 and (2) Novell ZENworks 6.2 SR1 and earlier, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the agentid parameter.
The bug was discovered 06/29/2006. The weakness was disclosed 07/06/2006 with Novacoast (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-3430 since 07/06/2006. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
