A vulnerability was found in Adaptive Technology Resource Centre ATutor 1.5.1/1.5.1 Pl1/1.5.1 Pl2/1.5.3 Rc2 (Learning Management Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file create_course.php. The manipulation of the argument submit with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in ATutor before 1.5.3 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) show_courses or (2) current_cat parameters to (a) admin/create_course.php, show_courses parameter to (b) users/create_course.php, (3) p parameter to (c) documentation/admin/, (4) forgot parameter to (d) password_reminder.php, (5) cat parameter to (e) users/browse.php, or the (6) submit parameter to admin/fix_content.php.
The weakness was released 07/05/2006 by Security News with Security News (Website). The advisory is available at atutor.ca. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-3484 since 07/10/2006. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
