A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Hotwebscripts CMS Mundo 1.0 (Content Management System). Affected is an unknown part of the file index.php of the component Search Module. The manipulation of the argument username with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in CMS Mundo 1.0 build 008, and possibly other versions, allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) news_id parameter in the (a) news module, (2) searchstring parameter in (b) the search module, (3) id parameter in (c) the webshop module, (4) username parameter in (d) index.php, and (5) Name, (6) Address, (7) Zip, (8) City, (9) Country, and (10) Email fields during (e) a user profile update.
The bug was discovered 05/30/2006. The weakness was shared 07/13/2006 by Andreas Sandblad (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-3135 since 06/22/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
