A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in UNIDOmedia Chameleon LE up to 1.203. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument rmid with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php in UNIDOmedia Chameleon LE 1.203 and earlier, and possibly Chameleon PRO, allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via the rmid parameter.
