Details
A vulnerability was found in RVC-Boss GPT-SoVITS up to 20250228v3. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function open_slice of the file webui.py. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-77. The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
GPT-SoVITS-WebUI is a voice conversion and text-to-speech webUI. In versions 20250228v3 and prior, there is a command injection vulnerability in the webui.py open_slice function. slice_opt_root and slice-inp-path takes user input, which is passed to the open_slice function, which concatenates the user input into a command and runs it on the server, leading to arbitrary command execution. At time of publication, no known patched versions are available.
