A vulnerability was found in Advanced Custom Fields Plugin up to 3.5.1 on WordPress and classified as critical. The WordPress plugin Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) version 3.5.1 and below contains a remote file inclusion (RFI) vulnerability in core/actions/export.php. When the PHP configuration directive allow_url_include is enabled (default: Off), an unauthenticated attacker can exploit the acf_abspath POST parameter to include and execute arbitrary remote PHP code. This leads to remote code execution under the web server’s context, allowing full compromise of the host.
The weakness was disclosed by Charlie Eriksen. The advisory is shared at raw.githubusercontent.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-10025 since 08/05/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.

By approaching the search of inurl:core/actions/export.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
