A vulnerability was found in Nagios XI Graph Explorer up to 1.2. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the file visApi.php. Nagios XI Network Monitor prior to Graph Explorer component version 1.3 contains a command injection vulnerability in `visApi.php`. An authenticated user can inject system commands via unsanitized parameters such as `host`, resulting in remote code execution.
The weakness was published by Daniel Compton. The advisory is shared for download at raw.githubusercontent.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-10029 since 08/05/2025.
