Traq versions 2.0 through 2.3 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the admincp/common.php script. The flawed authorization logic fails to halt execution after a failed access check, allowing unauthenticated users to reach admin-only functionality. This can be exploited via plugins.php to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code.

The weakness was released by Egidio Romano. It is possible to read the advisory at raw.githubusercontent.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-10013 since 08/12/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
