Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in traPtitech traQ up to 3.24.x. This vulnerability affects an unknown code. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a log file vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-532. Information written to log files can be of a sensitive nature and give valuable guidance to an attacker or expose sensitive user information. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
traQ is a messenger application built for Digital Creators Club traP. Prior to version 3.25.0, a vulnerability exists where sensitive information, such as OAuth tokens, are recorded in log files when an error occurs during the execution of an SQL query. An attacker could intentionally trigger an SQL error by methods such as placing a high load on the database. This could allow an attacker who has the authority to view the log files to illicitly acquire the recorded sensitive information. This vulnerability has been patched in version 3.25.0. If upgrading is not possible, a temporary workaround involves reviewing access permissions for SQL error logs and strictly limiting access to prevent unauthorized users from viewing them.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2025-57813 since 08/20/2025. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. Additional levels of successful authentication are required for exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1592.
Upgrading to version 3.25.0 eliminates this vulnerability. Applying the patch ce5da94f5d5a8348f9ecdc82140b6f53b3721698 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
