Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in NewsGator FeedDemon before 2.0.0.25 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via an Atom 1.0 feed, as demonstrated by certain test cases of the James M. Snell Atom 1.0 feed reader test suite.

The bug was discovered 09/19/2006. The weakness was disclosed 09/12/2006 with SPI Dynamics (Website). The advisory is shared for download at snellspace.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-4710 since 09/12/2006. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
