A vulnerability was found in Google Android 13/14/15. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function onCreate of the file ChooserActivity.java of the component Image Parser. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a local privilege escalation vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-441. In onCreate of ChooserActivity.java , there is a possible way to view other users' images due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
