A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in IdevSpot TextAds (version unknown). This issue affects an unknown function of the file delete.php. The manipulation of the argument error with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in IdevSpot TextAds allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the id parameter in delete.php and (2) the error parameter in error.php.
The weakness was shared 09/13/2006 by S3rv3r_hack3r (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-4747 since 09/13/2006. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
