A vulnerability was found in Google Android 13/14/15/16 and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function isSafeIntent of the file AccountTypePreferenceLoader.java. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a local privilege escalation vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-441. In isSafeIntent of AccountTypePreferenceLoader.java, there is a possible way to bypass an intent type check due to a confused deputy. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
