A vulnerability was found in Summar Portal del Empleado 3.98.0. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file /MemberPages/quienesquien.aspx of the component POST Request Handler. The manipulation of the argument ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$filtroNombre with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in Summar Software´s Portal del Empleado. This vulnerability allows an attacker to retrieve, create, update, and delete the database by sending a POST request using the parameter “ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$filtroNombre” in “/MemberPages/quienesquien.aspx”.
The weakness was shared by Pedro Gabaldón Juliá, Javier Medina Munuera, Antonio José Gálvez Sánchez, Alejandro Baño Andrés and Álvaro Piñero Laorden. The advisory is shared at incibe.es. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2025-40677 since 04/16/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
