A vulnerability was found in kalcaddle kodbox up to 1.61.09. It has been classified as problematic. This affects the function fileOut of the file app/controller/explorer/index.class.php. The manipulation of the argument path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
