Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Linux Kernel up to 5.10.153/5.15.76/6.0.6. This affects the function cti_disable_hw. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a stack-based overflow vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-121. A stack-based buffer overflow condition is a condition where the buffer being overwritten is allocated on the stack (i.e., is a local variable or, rarely, a parameter to a function). This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
