A vulnerability has been found in Melis Platform up to 5.3.0 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown processing of the file /melis/MelisCmsSlider/MelisCmsSliderDetails/saveDetailsForm of the component CMS Slider Module. The manipulation of the argument mcsdetail_img with an unknown input leads to a path equivalence vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-43. File upload leading to remote code execution (RCE) in the “melis-cms-slider” module of Melis Technology's Melis Platform. This vulnerability allows an attacker to upload a malicious file via a POST request to '/melis/MelisCmsSlider/MelisCmsSliderDetails/saveDetailsForm' using the 'mcsdetail_img' parameter.
The weakness was presented by Jesús Manzano Vázquez, Juan Manuel Martínez Hernández, Manuel Iván San Martín Castillo and Ángel Montilla Muñoz. The advisory is shared at incibe.es. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2025-10353 since 09/12/2025. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
