Newforma Info Exchange (NIX) '/NPCSRemoteWeb/LegacyIntegrationServices.asmx' allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause NIX to make an SMB connection to an attacker-controlled system. The attacker can capture the NTLMv2 hash of the user-configured NIX service account.

The advisory is shared for download at raw.githubusercontent.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2025-35061 since 04/15/2025. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
