Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop up to 6.7.0.278. Affected is an unknown part. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a toctou vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-367. The product checks the state of a resource before using that resource, but the resource's state can change between the check and the use in a way that invalidates the results of the check. This can cause the product to perform invalid actions when the resource is in an unexpected state. This is going to have an impact on integrity. CVE summarizes:
Creative Cloud Desktop versions 6.7.0.278 and earlier are affected by a Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary file system write. A low-privileged attacker could exploit the timing between the check and use of a resource, potentially allowing unauthorized modifications to files. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
