A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in PrestaShopCorp ps_checkout Module up to 4.4.0/5.0.4 on PrestaShop. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. PrestaShop Checkout is the PrestaShop official payment module in partnership with PayPal. In versions prior to 4.4.1 and 5.0.5, the backoffice is missing validation on input resulting in a directory traversal and arbitrary file disclosure. The vulnerability is fixed in versions 4.4.1 and 5.0.5. No known workarounds exist.
