A vulnerability has been found in Drupal up to 4.7.3 (Content Management System) and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the component XML Parser. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the XML parser in Drupal 4.6.x before 4.6.10 and 4.7.x before 4.7.4 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted RSS feed.

The weakness was disclosed 10/18/2006 by Erdem Köse (Website). The advisory is shared at secunia.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2006-5475 since 10/24/2006. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.

It is declared as proof-of-concept.

Upgrading to version 4.6.x eliminates this vulnerability.
