A vulnerability has been found in MediaTek MT6890, MT7615, MT7622, MT7663, MT7915, MT7916, MT7981 and MT7986 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the component WLAN AP Driver. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a stack-based overflow vulnerability. In wlan AP driver, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege (when OceReducedNeighborReport is disabled). User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: WCNCR00441510; Issue ID: MSV-4139.
