A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Coppermine Photo Gallery (Photo Gallery Software) (affected version not known). Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the file docs/showdoc.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Directory traversal vulnerability in viewlog.php in Coppermine Photo Gallery (CPG) 1.4.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated administrators to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the log parameter.
The weakness was presented 09/18/2007 by L4teral (Website). The advisory is shared at coppermine-gallery.net. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2007-4976 since 09/19/2007.
