A vulnerability was found in Advantech WebAccess and VPN up to 1.1.4. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is the function AjaxNetworkController.ajaxAction of the component Search Parameter Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Advantech WebAccess/VPN versions prior to 1.1.5 contain a SQL injection vulnerability in AjaxNetworkController.ajaxAction() that allows an authenticated low-privileged observer user to inject SQL via datatable search parameters, leading to disclosure of database information.
