A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in lsfusion platform up to 6.1. This issue affects the function UploadFileRequestHandler of the file platform/web-client/src/main/java/lsfusion/http/controller/file/UploadFileRequestHandler.java. The manipulation of the argument sid with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
