Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in LibreNMS up to 25.10.x. It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown processing of the file /ajax_output.php. The manipulation of the argument hostname with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:

LibreNMS is an auto-discovering PHP/MySQL/SNMP based network monitoring tool. Prior to version 25.11.0, a boolean-based blind SQL injection vulnerability was identified in the LibreNMS application at the /ajax_output.php endpoint. The hostname parameter is interpolated directly into an SQL query without proper sanitization or parameter binding, allowing an attacker to manipulate the query logic and infer data from the database through conditional responses. This issue has been patched in version 25.11.0.

The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2025-65093 since 11/17/2025. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
