A vulnerability was found in SOPlanning up to 1.54 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown part of the file /feries. SOPlanning is vulnerable to Stored XSS in /feries endpoint. Malicious attacker with access to public holidays feature is able to inject arbitrary HTML and JS into website, which will be rendered/executed when opening multiple pages. By default only administrators and users with special privileges are able to access this endpoint. This issue was fixed in version 1.55.
The weakness was disclosed by Łukasz Jaworski. The advisory is shared at cert.pl. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2025-62731 since 10/21/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
Upgrading to version 1.55 eliminates this vulnerability.
