A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Cactusoft CactuShop (version now known). This issue affects some unknown processing of the file prodtype.asp. The manipulation of the argument product with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in wwweb concepts CactuShop allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) prodtype parameter in prodtype.asp and the (2) product parameter in product.asp.

The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-5991 since 11/20/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
