The bug was discovered 10/15/2003. The weakness was shared 10/15/2003 by Ory Segal with Sanctum Inc as MS03-047 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at microsoft.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2003-0712 since 09/02/2003. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
