Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Cahier De Textes 2.0. This affects an unknown code block of the component Administration. The manipulation of the argument chemin with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
administration/telecharger.php in Cahier de texte 2.0 allows remote attackers to obtain unparsed content (source code) of files via the chemin parameter, as demonstrated using directory traversal sequences to obtain the MySQL username and password from conn_cahier_de_texte.php. NOTE: it is not clear whether the scope of this issue extends above the web document root, and whether directory traversal is the primary vulnerability.
