A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Stefan Frech online-bookmarks 0.6.12. This vulnerability affects the function login of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument password with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in the login function in auth.inc in Stefan Frech online-bookmarks 0.6.12 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) username and possibly the (2) password parameter. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
