A vulnerability was found in Volosoft ABP Framework up to 10.0.0-rc.1 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function register of the component Account Module. The manipulation of the argument returnUrl with an unknown input leads to a redirect vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-601. A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. Impacted is integrity. CVE summarizes:
An open redirect vulnerability exists in the Account module in Volosoft ABP Framework >= 5.1.0 and < 10.0.0-rc.2. Improper validation of the returnUrl parameter in the register function allows an attacker to redirect users to arbitrary external domains.
