A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Apple iPhone (Smartphone Operating System) (version now known). This affects some unknown processing of the component TIFF Image Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. Unspecified vulnerability in Safari on the Apple iPod touch (aka iTouch) and iPhone 1.1.1 allows user-assisted remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash), and enable filesystem browsing by the local user, via a certain TIFF file.
