A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in OpenCTI up to 6.8.2. This affects some unknown functionality of the file /auth/saml/callback of the component SAML Authentication Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument RelayState with an unknown input leads to a redirect vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-601. A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. OpenCTI is an open source platform for managing cyber threat intelligence knowledge and observables. Prior to version 6.8.3, an open redirect vulnerability exists in the OpenCTI platform's SAML authentication endpoint (/auth/saml/callback). By manipulating the RelayState parameter, an attacker can force the server to issue a 302 redirect to any external URL, enabling phishing, credential theft, and arbitrary site redirection. This issue has been patched in version 6.8.3.
