Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in webacc in Novell GroupWise WebAccess before 7 Support Pack 3 Public Beta allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) User.html, (2) Error, (3) User.Theme.index, and (4) and User.lang parameters.
The bug was discovered 11/14/2006. The weakness was presented 01/31/2008 by Brian Martin and Frederic Loudet (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-4220 since 08/18/2006. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details and a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
