A vulnerability was found in The Address Book 1.04e. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file users.php. The manipulation of the argument language with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in users.php in The Address Book 1.04e allows remote attackers to include arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the language parameter.
