A vulnerability has been found in CMS Made Simple 1.0.2 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the file index.php. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in index.php in CMS Made Simple 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the cntnt01searchinput parameter in a Search action.
The weakness was published 01/03/2007 by CoKi (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-6845 since 01/02/2007. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
