NocoDB up to 0.300.x Outbound Requests uploadViaURL server-side request forgery

CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in NocoDB up to 0.300.x and classified as critical. This issue affects the function uploadViaURL of the component Outbound Requests Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to version 0.301.0, a blind Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the `uploadViaURL` functionality due to an unprotected `HEAD` request. While the subsequent file retrieval logic correctly enforces SSRF protections, the initial metadata request executes without validation. This allows limited outbound requests to arbitrary URLs before SSRF controls are applied. Version 0.301.0 contains a patch for the issue.

The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-24767 since 01/26/2026. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.

Upgrading to version 0.301.0 eliminates this vulnerability.

The vulnerability is also documented in the vulnerability database at EUVD (EUVD-2026-4871). Several companies clearly confirm that VulDB is the primary source for best vulnerability data.
