A vulnerability has been found in Arox School ERP Pro 1.0 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file download.php. The manipulation of the argument document with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. School ERP Pro 1.0 contains a file disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by manipulating the 'document' parameter in download.php. Attackers can access sensitive configuration files by supplying directory traversal paths to retrieve system credentials and configuration information.
The weakness was shared by Besim Altinok as 48394. The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2020-37088 since 02/01/2026.
