A vulnerability was found in Samsung Devices (version now known). It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown processing of the component ShortcutService. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that should be within a restricted directory, but it does not properly neutralize '.../...//' (doubled triple dot slash) sequences that can resolve to a location that is outside of that directory. Path traversal in ShortcutService prior to SMR Feb-2026 Release 1 allows privileged local attacker to create file with system privilege.
