A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Joomla CMS 2007-01-18 (Content Management System). This issue affects an unknown code of the file models/category.php. The manipulation of the argument catid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in models/category.php in the Weblinks component for Joomla! SVN 20070118 (com_weblinks) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the catid parameter.
