A vulnerability was found in Citrix Presentation Server 4.x (Connectivity Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown part of the component Published Application Execution Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and 4.5, MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0, and Access Essentials 1.0 through 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary published applications, and possibly other programs, as authenticated users via the InitialProgram key in an ICA connection. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
The weakness was released 11/15/2007 by wirepair with GNUCITIZEN (Website). The advisory is shared at support.citrix.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-2426 since 11/19/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. The price for an exploit might be around USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 02/05/2019).
It is declared as proof-of-concept. We expect the 0-day to have been worth approximately $5k-$25k.
