Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in FinalWire Aida64 6.10.5200. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a stack-based overflow vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-121. A stack-based buffer overflow condition is a condition where the buffer being overwritten is allocated on the stack (i.e., is a local variable or, rarely, a parameter to a function). As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:

Aida64 Engineer 6.10.5200 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the CSV logging configuration that allows attackers to execute malicious code by crafting a specially designed payload. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by creating a malformed log file with carefully constructed SEH (Structured Exception Handler) overwrite techniques to achieve remote code execution.

The weakness was presented by 8-team and Daejinoh as 47574. The advisory is available at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2019-25360 since 02/13/2026.
