A vulnerability was found in CVSTrac up to 2.0. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function is_eow of the file format.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The is_eow function in format.c in CVSTrac before 2.0.1 does not properly check for the " " (quote) character, which allows remote authenticated users to execute limited SQL injection attacks and cause a denial of service (database error) via a character in certain messages, tickets, or Wiki entries.
