The manipulation of the argument dir with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in F3Site 2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated administrators to upload and execute arbitrary PHP scripts via GIF86 header in a file in the uplf parameter, which can be later accessed via a relative pathname in the dir parameter in adm.php.
