A vulnerability has been found in twentyhq twenty up to 1.17 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part of the component SecureHttpClientService. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Twenty is an open source CRM. Prior to version 1.18, the SSRF protection in SecureHttpClientService validated request URLs at the request level but did not validate redirect targets. An authenticated user who could control outbound request URLs (e.g., webhook endpoints, image URLs) could bypass private IP blocking by redirecting through an attacker-controlled server. This issue has been patched in version 1.18.
