Details
A vulnerability classified as very critical has been found in Keycloak (the affected version unknown). Affected is an unknown part of the component org.keycloak.broker.saml. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a authentication bypass vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-305. The authentication algorithm is sound, but the implemented mechanism can be bypassed as the result of a separate weakness that is primary to the authentication error. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
A flaw was found in org.keycloak.broker.saml. When a disabled Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) client is configured as an Identity Provider (IdP)-initiated broker landing target, it can still complete the login process and establish a Single Sign-On (SSO) session. This allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to other enabled clients without re-authentication, effectively bypassing security restrictions.
