Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in maximmasiutin TinyWeb up to 2.2. It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown functionality of the component HTTP Request Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a integer overflow vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-190. The product performs a calculation that can produce an integer overflow or wraparound, when the logic assumes that the resulting value will always be larger than the original value. This can introduce other weaknesses when the calculation is used for resource management or execution control. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

TinyWeb is a web server (HTTP, HTTPS) written in Delphi for Win32. Prior to version 2.03, an integer overflow vulnerability in the string-to-integer conversion routine (_Val) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass Content-Length restrictions and perform HTTP Request Smuggling. This can lead to unauthorized access, security filter bypass, and potential cache poisoning. The impact is critical for servers using persistent connections (Keep-Alive). This issue has been patched in version 2.03.

It is possible to read the advisory at github.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2026-28497 since 02/27/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
