A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Eventobot (version now known). Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file /assets/php/calculate_discount.php. The manipulation of the argument promo_send with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. A SQL injection vulnerability has been found in Eventobot. This vulnerability allows an attacker to retrieve, create, update and delete databases through the 'promo_send' parameter in the '/assets/php/calculate_discount.php'.
The weakness was released by Gonzalo Aguilar García. The advisory is shared for download at incibe.es. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2025-40639 since 04/16/2025.
